Konrad Dietzfelbinger
Dr. Konrad Dietzfelbinger, sociologist and Germanist, has been working as a translator and author of religious and spiritual texts for decades. His work has brought him into contact with diverse traditions of Western humanity. Raised in a distinctly ecclesiastical environment, he noticed as a child that a much deeper spiritual Christianity must be hidden beneath the faith-based Christianity he encountered there. One of his main concerns is to make original Christianity visible again. Those who return to the roots of the Gospels, as found in the Gnostic writings discovered at Nag Hammadi, and take them seriously, thus uncovering the path of Christianity beneath the superficialities and encrustations, will only then realize the position this religion occupies among all other world religions. They will experience that Christianity, correctly understood, is, especially for Westerners, the gateway to the realization of the true self.
