Werner Barfod
Werner Barfod Born in Kiel in 1936, he studied eurythmy in Dornach and was director of the renowned Academie voor Eurythmie (now Helicon University of Applied Sciences) in The Hague from 1970 to 1999, thus looking back on over thirty years as an instructor and mentor for eurythmy students. For twenty-five years, from 1972 to 1997, he also held the artistic direction and artistic directorship of the Nederlands Eurythmie-Ensemble and toured the Netherlands and Europe with numerous programs. In 2000, he was appointed head of the Section for Performing Arts at the Goetheanum.
