Judith von Halle
Judith von Halle, born in 1972 in Berlin, is a graduate architect, author (more than thirty book publications), and lectures and seminars on humanities topics, particularly Christological ones. "Swan Wings," an autobiographical story, tells of the extraordinary inner experiences of a person who, in his third year of life, awakens from a childish twilight consciousness through a pivotal event and suddenly asks himself: Where was I before? The hunt for his lost, full consciousness begins. From that day on, the child sees the world with different eyes than the people around him. Thus, the four-year-old observes colorfully intertwined streams of force in her sleeping grandfather, which she calls the "magic force of life." She experiences staying awake while falling asleep and perceives hideous figures that appear at the entrance to the "world of truth" and reveal themselves to be a swamp of his own soul. Behind this, she receives the "venerable light" that strengthens her attempt at ethical self-education. An experience in her tenth year becomes decisive for her future. Philosophers such as Plotinus, mystics such as Böhme, and poets such as Novalis have reported such experiences. Here, a child tells of how they experience something divine in their soul as a source of wisdom and love, the goal of their search for their "full wholeness." Existential themes such as life and death, transience, God, and love are discussed in detail from a childlike, unprejudiced perspective. The accounts of the ever-increasing challenge of mastering the balancing act between the "world of reality" and the "daytime theater world," in which they must function inconspicuously, are harrowing. The student finds comfort and nourishment in the world of poetry, philosophy, and art at the infamous Canisius College high school, whose teachers and teaching methods are humorously described in passing. She refined the method of meditation, but kept the hidden world to herself until the age of 25. After a life crisis during her studies, she finally encountered a spiritually open philosophy in which she found astonishing similarities with her own experiences. This triggered the discovery of reincarnation, which brought her full circle, including her mysterious awakening experience in her third year.
